Coastal Dental Care welcomes Dr Rohini Bonthala

Coastal Dental Care is pleased to welcome Dr Rohini Bonthala who has joined the team at Coastal Dental Care Robina Town.

Dr Rohini grew up in Uganda, but is of Indian origin, so when the time came to attend university her family encouraged her to reconnect with her roots and study in India.

After graduating from the Manipal University in India with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Rohini returned to work in Uganda, providing dental services for many international embassies including the American Peace Corp, the Rwandan Embassy, the German Embassy, and the Indian Embassy.

However, right from childhood, Rohini always dreamed of coming to Australia, and now that dream has become a reality.

Rohini is passionate about building relationships with her patients, and helping them to achieve a successful oral hygiene regime so they don’t need to fear cavities.

One of Rohini’s favourite experiences to date was being able to work with a patient who had previously had a phobia of the dentist, and turning them into someone who now has no issues with attending their appointments.

She loves the way dentistry marries art and science, using both creative and intellectual aspects to enable her to customise treatments to meet the precise needs of each individual patient.

When she’s not at work, Dr Rohini loves to travel and do voluntary dental work around the world. So far she has volunteered at a children’s prison in Uganda, as well of rural regions of Kenya and India, and she hopes to continue this work.

Dr Rohini is now available for appointments at Coastal Dental Care Robina Town. If you would like to request an appointment with her, please contact the friendly team at Coastal Dental Care Robina Town today.
