Big Tooth’s Recent Adventures

As part of the Coastal Dental Care community engagement, The Big Tooth has been out on several adventures lately. Not only did he get to participate in the 5km Gold Coast Bulletin Fun Run at Robina, but also played some footy with the Tweed Heads Seagulls.

The Big Tooth completed the fun run alongside our Robina Town, Robina Village and Burleigh Waters practices and finished as second fastest runner with a time of 29 minutes 43 seconds; 105th in the overall ranking of 389 participants. Only our dentist Norah Ayad could leave the highly motivated Big Tooth behind her and secured Burleigh Waters Dental Care the title of “The Fittest Coastal Dental Care Practice 2017”. It was a great team building event that was enjoyed by all staff members who gave their best and represented their practices very well.

As part of Coastal Dental Care’s partnership with the Tweed Heads Seagulls Rugby League Football Club, The Big Tooth visited home games of both the A-grade and Intrust Super Cup teams on Sunday, 30.04.2017. Coastal Dental Care provided the squad with mouthguard specials at the beginning of the season and donated a raffle prize in the form of a Philips Zoom!TM tooth whitening session at Tweed Dental Care for the game day.

The Big Tooth cheered the teams on and even had a run himself at half time. The Big Tooth witnessed the first win of the season of a powering A-grade side against Tugun whilst the Intrust team was beaten by the Sunshine Coast Falcons. It was a special home game with the Seagulls raising money for the rugby league clubs in Murwillumbah that were badly affected by the recent floods. A portion of the gate takings and all the raffle earnings were donated to support the clubs.

It definitely won’t be the last sporting event attended by The Big Tooth! Like our Facebook page @coastaldentalcareGC or one of our practice pages to stay updated!
